Derik Andreoli

Based in Seattle, with 16 years of experience in transportation economics, international trade dynamics, and energy markets, Mr. Andreoli has conducted numerous economic and international trade forecasts.

Derik has a passion for exploring data, and he has a keen eye for not only recognizing patterns, but for recognizing when outliers mark important inflection points. Mr. Andreoli’s primary focus is on commercial analysis – forecasting tradelane, port, and terminal level volumes, rates, and revenues.

Mr. Andreoli also writes an Oil & Fuel column for Logistics Management magazine, and he regularly gives presentations on these subjects at logistics conferences. Prior to joining Mercator International, Mr. Andreoli conducted economic impact studies on freight transportation networks, cargo flows, and transportation infrastructure for regional and state governments.
