A major industrial real estate investor/developer was considering the acquisition of a network of warehouses in the U.S. Gulf Coast area that handle resin products for both export and domestic distribution. Mercator International evaluated the competitiveness of the target warehouses vis-à-vis competing warehouses, conducted site visits, analyzed cargo flows, and evaluated the transportation economics. Mercator International’s analysis ultimately supported a successful acquisition of this warehouse portfolio.
